Today there are a lot of businesses that give processes to outsourced teams of professionals. And they are interested only in how to manage remote teams effectively. In this article, we will find answer.

1. Give everyone the opportunity to work when it’s convenient for them

It would be a crime to put all “larks”, “owls” and other crazy birds living in different time zones within strict limits. Everyone works when they can make a big difference to the company. There are employees who work only during the day, and there are those who work only at night. There’s one rule: no one’s interested when an employee is doing a job, the main thing is that it is qualitatively. In this distribution of forces, there is another advantage: at any time, one of the employees is working, and he can be assigned a very urgent task.

2. Give everyone the opportunity to work in a way that is convenient for them

There are people who work well in complete silence, and there are those who do not present their working day without music in headphones. If it is convenient for employees to talk about life in the public chat and it motivates them, why not? After all, it’s part of the team building.

3. Give everyone the opportunity to work where they feel comfortable

You should be glad if everyone finds a convenient location. Let it be a country house, coworking, apartment in town or any other city, any place on the globe. You should not be absolutely against relocating employees to another time zone, because look at point #1 — everyone has the right to work when he or she is comfortable. If a person wants to change his life for the better and still be able to perform his functions — it’s great, because a happy person is often more efficient and motivated as a specialist.

Please, share my story if you like it!
